GLOBAL MEDIA OUTREACH DEVELOPS DISCIPLESHIP DASHBOARD
PLANO, Texas (July 29, 2014) — Global Media Outreach has launched the Discipleship Dashboard, a new tool to help its nearly 9,000 Online Missionaries disciple new and recommitting believers. The tool allows Online Missionaries to track the spiritual growth and activity of their disciples by reporting on several engagements, including how many lessons a disciple has completed in Global Media Outreach’s online materials.
With disciples coming from nations all over the world, some live in places with low access to Christian resources. Walid wrote from Iraq and said, “I need to be discipled please send me discipleship materials using my email every day.”
When someone like Walid indicates a decision, Global Media Outreach immediately begins sending them a series called “Look to Jesus” (www.GodLife.com/look-to-jesus) and “30 Day Next Steps” (www.GodLife.com/30-day-guide). Both of these online tools allow new and recommitting believers to understand the basic principles of Christianity and grow in their faith.
With the new discipleship dashboard, Global Media Outreach has used its expertise in technology to help Online Missionaries track which lessons have been received and read by seekers. This helps online missionaries follow along with the progress of their disciples and minister more effectively.
To better measure engagement, the Discipleship Dashboard also allows Online Missionaries to track:
Global Media Outreach has presented the Gospel more than a billion times and continues using technology to disciple millions of new believers. To see live tracking of people all over the globe visiting Global Media Outreach sites and being exposed to the Gospel, visit www.WitnessToAll.com.
