The early years of Global Media Outreach saw a lot of hard work in creating the solid foundation that the ministry is now built on. While technology was advancing at a rate never seen before, Global Media Outreach was on the cutting edge, utilizing the Google Ad Network and mobile phone advertisements well before any other ministry.
Technology was thrown ahead at lightspeed in 2007 when Apple introduced the iPhone and the smartphone race began. Because Global Media Outreach was positioned on the leading edge of technology at that time, it was much easier for the ministry to become an earlier adopter of the new smartphone technology than it was for many other ministries.
These days, more than 90 percent of our traffic comes from mobile phones. Without being divinely prepared for this breakthrough, it would have been much more difficult to share the Gospel with the nearly 2 billion people who have heard it in the last 15 years.
