Scott's numerous heart surgeries, damaged extremities and the inability to speak left him feeling hopeless about his future.
Not only was every minute of each day a challenge, Scott worried that he would not be able to serve the Lord in a meaningful way.
Unable to work and with no way to pay medical bills, Scott and his wife lost their home and cars. However, Scott never lost faith and believed that the Lord would find a way to use him.
His life changed when a friend suggested that he become an Online Missionary with Global Media Outreach. Scott prayed and the Lord affirmed the direction when he was accepted into the English Online Missionary Community.
Today, Scott is a blessing to so many people searching around the world, and at the same time is being blessed as he serves others.
Even in the lowest of lows, the Lord cared for Scott and showed him that no matter the life circumstances, He has a perfect plan and can use us in our brokenness.
We’re so thankful for faithful volunteers like Scott, who use their own experiences to share the Gospel in a loving and selfless way and make reaching others for Jesus possible.
“Other than salvation, becoming an Online Missionary is the best thing I’ve ever done. I wouldn't have given you two cents on me ever being able to witness to anybody outside of my immediate area before Global Media Outreach came into the picture. I certainly never expected to be God’s witness to the utter ends of the earth. I am wheelchair bound and I have to use a device to talk. I am able to do this ministry from my wheelchair in my home. All I can say is, praise the Lord.”
