FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Plano, TX - March 21, 2014
Global Media Outreach (GMO) chairman Walt Wilson announced today that David Hammock has joined the GMO team as organizational development director.
Hammock will work closely with GMO leaders and teams to help successfully execute the ministry’s vision to stay on the cutting edge of emerging technologies with the intent to give everyone on earth multiple opportunities to know and follow Jesus Christ.
In 2011, Hammock retired from a vice president position after 36 years at AT&T. He almost immediately began serving as the chief operating officer of a ministry that serves restricted access countries, or countries where Christians can face persecution for the open preaching of the Gospel.
Hammock also serves as an elder at Stonebriar Community Church under the leadership of senior pastor Chuck Swindoll. “As a mature Christian with many years experience in executive roles, Dave brings extensive business skills, leadership and organizational development to the ministry. We are pleased to have him joining GMO,” Wilson said.
Global Media Outreach will continue to strategically grow its team in order to effectively share the Gospel and disciple millions of new believers. To see live tracking of people all over the globe visiting GMO sites and being exposed to the Gospel, visit www.GreatCommission2020.com.
