Global Media Outreach Announces 2007 Results
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Los Gatos, Ca. (April 15, 2008) – Global Media Outreach, an internet ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ International, has announced ministry activities and result from 2007.
Global Media Outreach exceeded its goal of reaching one million people, resulting in more than 1.3 million people indicating a decision for Christ in 2007.
During 2007, the ministry focused on reaching people where they live, leading to the development of sites such as LookToJesus.com in several additional languages, launching video sites around marriage, finances, relationships, addiction and other life issues. We also tested and launched evangelism on cell phones – a project that has received enormous response.
Here are just a few messages we received from people who had the opportunity to learn about Jesus from their mobile phone:
“I want to be a Christian. How is it possible?” R, Bangladesh
“Thank you for giving me a way to make this decision.” F, South Africa
“Thank you for this chance to get back to the path of hope.” C, Kentucky
With more than 1,000 emails coming in daily from people seeking prayer, discipleship and wanting more information on Jesus, Global Media Outreach continues to research and expand programs for using technology to share the gospel.
