WorldLINC Merges with Global Media Outreach
December, 01 2005

Global Media Outreach today announced its merger with WorldLINC, a sister ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ, bringing together a host of skills and talents to jointly increase overall effectiveness of both ministries. Both organizations have enjoyed a two-year collaborative relationship and have together co-developed a number of initiatives.

Having worked together resulted in a growing team sprit between the people involved in the various projects. As personal relationships have grown and strengthened it became a very natural thing to simultaneously ask the question of each other – “why don't we fully merge our work for greater impact in growing the Kingdom?” Those discussions began this past summer and have now resulted in a definitive agreement.

The Orlando staff of WorldLINC, while remaining in Orlando, will integrate with GMO and will restructure into a single GMO unit to maximize internal productivity, leverage donor investment and extend outreach to those who do not know Jesus. Dr. Allan Beeber will play a very key role as a director and member of the ministry leadership team. Commenting on the merger, Walt Wilson of GMO said; “I am personally, very excited to have Allan’s skill, creativity and experience as part of this team as our work continues to grow beyond Internet text into Podcasting, video, audio and GSM on cell phones.”
