Bible Distribution – YouVersion

Surrounded by unbelievers a young man named Yuma from Afghanistan was able to accept Jesus Christ as his savior after finding a Global Media Outreach Gospel presentation.

Yuma’s heart was set on fire for the Lord following his conversion, and he wanted to know the best way to grow his faith.

His Online Missionary pointed him to YouVersion so he could download a Bible and share the Word of the Lord with his friends.

There are many stories like Yuma’s thanks to Global Media Outreach’s partnership with YouVersion. In addition to the work of Online Missionaries pointing seekers to YouVersion when in need of a Bible, Global Media Outreach provides links on its Gospel presentation sites that allow seekers to download the Bible app.

All in all, this partnership results in hundreds of thousands of people being able to download a Bible every year.

“Over the past year, Global Media Outreach has referred 5,464,645 people to the Bible App resulting in 439,586 installs. [Global Media Outreach] is YouVersion’s largest referral partner.” – Brian Russell, Executive Director of YouVersion

Global Media Outreach loves partnering with organizations that are focused on Bible distribution. Providing God’s Word to those in need is one of the biggest missions we undertake on a day-to-day basis and it is one of the best ways to build up new believers.
